THE VOICE OF THE PLAYERS

We, the players of the NWSL, vow to build on the opportunity that has been afforded to us, as well as work to achieve these goals that have not yet been attained. We honor the vision and progress of those who came before us . . . Commit ourselves to doing all in our power for the betterment of our members so that we may best contribute to the common goal: a world-class product on the field, and to be role models and inspire the next generation off the field.

Who we are

The NWSLPA is the voice and advocate of NWSL players. Our objective is to elevate professional standards in NWSL so that every Player can pursue a long-lasting, sustainable, and fulfilling career as a professional soccer player. We are the labor union that serves as the exclusive bargaining representative of all NWSL players. Operating as a democratic organization, our members elect an Executive Committee and Player Representatives from each NWSL team to govern and make decisions on behalf of all players. Our union is Player-centered, Player-led, and organized by and for Players.

Our mission

We, the players of the NWSL, vow to build on the opportunity that has been afforded to us, as well as work to achieve these goals that have not yet been attained. We honor the vision and progress of those who came before us . . . Commit ourselves to doing all in our power for the betterment of our members so that we may best contribute to the common goal: to play  world-class soccer on the field, and to inspire the next generation off the field.

a message from our president

The last five years have provided a clear picture of what has always been and will always be at the heart of our organization, the Players.  In a league that has not always had a union, I am grateful to be a part of the history in the creation and advancement of one.  My hope for the next generation is that they understand our past struggles, and recognize that the strength of our union lies in the legacy we are willing to leave behind.
